Reminder: The Ned McWherter Scholarship and transcripts are due today. This is for seniors with a composite ACT score of a 29, 3.5 GPA, and planning to attend a Tennessee post-secondary institution. Please make sure to fill out google classroom assignment to let Mrs. Jennifer Ray know to send your transcripts!
No school Monday, February 18th in observance of Presidents Day.
Any junior who would like to be on the Prom Committee can sign up using the Google Form in the Class of 2020 Google Classroom. The first meeting will be Wednesday, February 20th from 3-4pm.
Seniors: TCAT Signing Day will be held Thursday, February 21st. Please see Ms. Natalie to pick up your permission slip; you must have this signed and will serve as your ticket in order to load the bus Thursday morning.
Juniors: College Planning Night will be held Thursday, February 21st from 5:30-7:30 in the DCHS Commons. This event will inform students and their families of the steps they can take over the summer to jumpstart the college going process.

The cost of this class is $210 and the certification is valid for 2 years. Space is limited to 10 individuals per class. HOSA State competitors will meet immediately after school if they were unable to attend the meeting at break today.

The Creative Writing Club will be selling tickets for a Valentines Bouquet. Tickets are $1 for the first one and .50 for each additional one. The winner will be chosen on the morning of February 14th. The winner will need to read a short story or poem that they have wrote in order to claim their prize. A reminder that the PBIS store is open in the library on Monday and Wednesday mornings and afternoons. Download the PBIS Student Rewards App to check your point balance and store inventory. The DCHS Key Club recently completed their Christmas service project. 55 boxes were packed and delivered to Dyer County elementary schools to be delivered to students who may need extra food over the holiday break.
