Parent-Teacher Conferences will be on February 8, 2022, from 3:30-6:30. The Scholastic Book Fair will be open during this time.


This week we celebrate National School Counseling Week. A huge thanks to Miranda Dudley and Emily Morgan for meeting the social, mental, and emotional health needs of our students.


The book fair has been extended until Monday, February 7.

Monday, December 6 at 5:00 we will have our annual Title 1 Meeting and our Family STREAM Night. We hope to see all HPS students and families. This is going to be such a fun night for students, teachers, and families.
On Tuesday, December 7, a Title 1 survey link will be posted on here and our website. Students whose parent/guardian completes the survey before December 10 will receive a homework pass.

Beginning Monday, November 8, 2021, all Dyer County Schools will transition to Phase 4. Schools will operate with no restrictions. Enhanced cleaning procedures will remain in place at all schools.


On November 11 at 9:00, fourth grade students will be presenting their Veterans Day program. Fourth grade parents and any veteran are invited to attend. Veterans do not have to have a student at HPS to attend.


If you would like to order your child's class picture, please fill out the order envelope and send money by November 11. There is one envelope per student.

October 18-22 is Bus Driver Appreciation Week. Thank you to all of our school bus drivers for getting our students to and from school safely each day. Thanks for starting and ending their day with a smile. We appreciate you!

All Dyer County schools will be closed next week, October 4-8, for fall break. Classes will resume Monday, October 11. We hope everyone has a fantastic break!
